Nestlé: lowers targets for 2024
(CercleFinance.com) - In its trading update, Nestlé reduced its targets for 2024, in view of the consumer environment and further measures taken by customers to reduce their inventories in Q4.
As a result, the Swiss food group now expects growth in recurring EPS at constant exchange rates to be broadly stable, with organic sales growth around 2%.
For the first nine months of the year, Nestlé posted total sales that are down 2.4% to 67.1bn CHF, while organic growth reached 2%, with positive real internal growth (RIG) of 0.5% and a price effect of 1.6%.
