Nestlé: makes takeover bid for Aimmune

(CercleFinance.com) - Nestlé has announced that it has launched a takeover bid for Aimmune Therapeutics.


Its wholly-owned subsidiary, SPN Merger Sub, is today launching a cash tender offer to purchase all of Aimmune Therapeutics' outstanding common shares.

This offer is being made at a price of 34.50 dollars per share (in cash).

The independent members of Aimmune's board of directors have said that the Offer is fair and in the best interests of Aimmune's shareholders, therefore recommending that shareholders accept the offer.
