Apple: a new, faster and more powerful iPad Air

(CercleFinance.com) - On Tuesday, Apple unveiled a new iPad Air tablet featuring its powerful in-house M3 graphics chip, which will improve the device's efficiency.


The new iPad Air with M3 chip is almost twice as fast as the iPad Air with M11 chip and up to 3.5 times more efficient than the iPad Air with A14 Bionic chip, says the Apple brand.

It has been designed to meet the functionalities of Apple Intelligence, the personal AI system developed by the firm.

With an unchanged starting price of 719 euros for the 11-inch model and 969 euros for the 13-inch model, the Californian group is highlighting the value for money of its new tablet.

The tablet, which can be pre-ordered today, will be available from Wednesday March 12, according to the press release.

This new offensive on the tablet front is also accompanied by the launch of an updated version of the iPad, which now features double the basic storage and the A16 chip.

Apple also unveiled a brand-new keyboard for the iPad Air, dubbed the 'Magic Keyboard', featuring a new row of 14 function keys for quick access to controls such as screen brightness and volume.

The new Magic Keyboard, which is attached by magnetic connection, will be available at a price of 329 euros for the 11-inch model and 349 euros for the 13-inch model.

Apple's announcements on Tuesday had no impact on the share price, which was down 0.2% on Wall Street against a backdrop of trade tensions unfavorable to the group, which is very much focused on international business.
