Michelin: net income down slightly to ME1,890 in 2024
(CercleFinance.com) - Group sales amounted to 27,193 million euros in 2024, down 4.
1% from 8,343 million euros in 2023. At constant exchange rates, the decline was 3.1%. Operating income from the sectors stood at 3,378 million euros at December 31, 2024, or 12.4% of sales, compared with 3,572 million euros and 12.6% at December 31, 2023. Free cash flow before acquisitions amounted to 2.2 billion euros, with EBITDA representing 19.7% of sales, up 0.3 points. Net income is down slightly, to €1,890 million in 2024 (vs. €1,983 million in 2023).. Michelin is targeting an increase in segment operating income at constant exchange rates compared with 2024, and free cash flow generation before acquisitions in excess of €1.7 billion.
