GTT: order for tank designs for 6 LNG carriers

(CercleFinance.com) - GTT is pleased to announce that, in the first quarter of 2025, it has received an order from its partner, the Chinese shipyard Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group), to design the tanks for six new very large LNG carriers.


These six LNG carriers will each offer a total capacity of 271,000 m³, and will incorporate the NO96 Super+ membrane containment system developed by GTT.

The ships are scheduled for delivery in the second quarter of 2028, the second and third quarters of 2029, and the first and third quarters of 2031.
