Safran: supported by a broker upgrade

(CercleFinance.com) - Safran leads the CAC40 with a gain of almost 3%, benefiting from a recommendation upgrade by Jefferies from 'hold' to 'buy', with a price target raised from 230 to 260 euros for the aircraft engine and equipment manufacturer.


In the summary of its note, the broker explains that it is raising its position on the basis of vigorous EPS growth (+21% per annum on average over the period 2023-28), which it believes justifies a higher multiple than that which it had previously taken into account.
