Ryanair: presents proposals & targets for 2025
(CercleFinance.com) - Ryanair announces its resolutions for 2025, calling on European governments to adopt policies that promote growth in aviation, tourism and employment.
The company calls for the abolition of air taxes, citing recent success stories in Sweden and Ireland, and criticizes tax hikes in France, Germany and the UK.
It also urges a reduction in air traffic control (ATC) fees, the resolution of ATC delays through better staffing and reform, and the removal of 'artificial constraints on growth, such as the traffic cap at Dublin airport.
The company says it expects to increase its annual traffic by 200-300 million passengers through the delivery of 350 new aircraft, and insists that policies conducive to this growth are needed to strengthen connectivity and the European economy.
