GE Vernova: supplies wind turbine for R&D in Colorado
(CercleFinance.com) - GE Vernova announces that its Advanced Research Center (ARC) has supplied a 3.
4 MW-140 m wind turbine to the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) as part of a research project funded by the Department of Energy (DOE).
This strategic partnership aims to develop key technologies such as advanced sensors, direct DC coupling and battery storage systems, in order to improve the efficiency and resilience of renewable energies.
The wind turbine will be installed in 2026 at the Flatirons site in Colorado, reinforcing research into green hydrogen and decarbonization for heavy industries.
