Nokia: protecting mobile networks with Turkcell

This breakthrough marks a crucial step in securing mobile networks against the future threats posed by quantum computing, the group says.

The introduction of quantum computing threatens traditional cryptographic methods, making them potentially vulnerable to powerful quantum attacks capable of breaking conventional cryptographic protections. As quantum computing continues to advance, it is essential that networks evolve to counter these risks, Nokia adds.

Nokia also says that through its collaboration with Turkcell, it has demonstrated how its quantum-secure IPsec technology can protect mobile networks against evolving security threats.
