Nokia: e& UAE adopts slicing solution

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced that e& UAE is the first operator to use its slicing solution to create a dedicated end-to-end network, meeting the speed and latency requirements of gaming.
In a trial in Abu Dhabi, slices were configured on both home Wi-Fi and fiber networks to guarantee optimum quality.

Nokia's solution, including Altiplano, Corteca and NSP, enables customized slices to be created automatically for specific services such as streaming or gaming.

e& UAE has demonstrated its ability to activate an optimized slice as soon as a game console is detected, offering an exceptional gaming experience.

According to Mohamed Salama, head of Nokia, this test sets a new standard for premium autonomous networks.
