TotalEnergies: mobilizing in Mayotte following the cyclone

(CercleFinance.com) - TotalEnergies has announced that it is mobilizing in the wake of cyclone Chido, which hit Mayotte, to ensure fuel supplies and support relief efforts, in cooperation with local authorities.


The oil depots at Longoni and the airport, as well as two service stations, have been reopened, with the priority of supplying essential infrastructures.

In addition, the company states that its TotalEnergies Foundation has released 5 million euros for emergency aid and reconstruction, including an initial donation of one million euros to the Civil Protection for immediate response missions, including the dispatch of medical supplies and essential equipment.
