AstraZeneca: two appointments to the Board of Directors

(CercleFinance.com) - AstraZeneca announced Monday that it has appointed Rene Haas, CEO of British chipmaker arm, and Birgit Conix, current CFO of Swiss hearing care specialist Sonova, to its board of directors.


In a press release, the biopharmaceutical group explains that the addition of Rene Haas to its board will enable it to strengthen its technological expertise, particularly in the fields of data science and AI.

The appointment of Birgit Conix will, for her part, consolidate her know-how in financial matters, as she has 15 years' experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
