Rolls-Royce: 1st Trent 1000 received at Dahlewitz center
(CercleFinance.com) - Rolls-Royce announces the arrival of the first Trent 1000 engine for maintenance (MRO) at its Dahlewitz center (Germany).
The engine manufacturer sees this as a key milestone following its £55 million investment to increase maintenance capabilities in the UK and Germany.
This initiative, which will create 300 new jobs, is in response to growing demand for Trent engines and strengthens global customer support.
Paul Keenan, Director of Maintenance Operations, reiterated Rolls-Royce's objective of increasing its worldwide MRO capacity by 7-9% per annum by 2030.
