Orange: post-Olympic collaboration with La Poste

(CercleFinance.com) - Orange has announced a collaboration with La Poste aimed at extending the lifespan of network equipment used as part of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.


This equipment, including several thousand WiFi hotspots, will be reused at La Poste sites, notably in Nantes, to improve connectivity and support digitalization.

According to Philippe Bajou, Executive Vice President of La Poste Group, Corporate Secretary of La Poste Group and President of La Poste Immobilier, the reuse of network equipment is perfectly in line with the Group's commitment to promoting responsible digital.

This project is in line with the CSR strategies of both companies, which are committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2040, Orange adds.
