Ipsos: no firm offer for Kantar Media

(CercleFinance.com) - In a brief press release, Ipsos announces that it has decided, at this stage, NOT to make a firm offer for Kantar Media, after completing a careful study of a possible acquisition of this company.


Ipsos confirmed on Monday morning that it was in discussions about a possible acquisition of Kantar Media, in line with its strategy of evaluating investment opportunities to strengthen its market position.

There can be no certainty that an offer will be made, nor as to the terms on which such an offer might be made. There can be no guarantee that these discussions will lead to an agreement, the market research group added.
