Eni: sustainable fuel supply agreement with easyJet
(CercleFinance.com) - Eni has announced that Enilive, its specialist in mobility products and services, has signed a new agreement with easyJet to supply sustainable jet fuel (SAF) for several flights departing from Milan Malpensa airport.
This SAF, with a purity of 20%, will be used for easyJet's new winter routes to Oslo and Tromsø.
easyJet will also benefit from SEA's SAF 2024 support program, with a grant of 800 E/tonne.
Enilive and easyJet have signed a letter of intent for the potential supply of 30,000 tonnes of pure SAF to other Italian airports.
This agreement is part of easyJet's commitment to promoting the SAF market, including initiatives to make the fuel more affordable and joining the Project SkyPower consortium.
