Toyota: net income down 26.4% in the 1st half of the year

(CercleFinance.com) - Toyota Motor Corporation has published its results for the 1st half of its 2025 fiscal year, the period from April to September 2024.


During the period, sales reached 23,282 billion yen, up 5.9%, with operating income down 3.7% to 2,464 billion yen.

Profit before tax came to 2,732 billion yen (-22.4%), with net income, group share down 26.4% to 1,907 billion yen.

Half-year EPS came to 142.15 yen, compared with 191.26 yen

The Group has indicated that it is targeting sales of 46,000 billion yen for its full fiscal year 2025 (April 24 to March 25), with net income, Group share of 3,570 billion yen (-27.8%) and EPS of 268.77 yen (compared with 265.04 yen in the estimate published at the end of the 1st quarter of the fiscal year).
