Airbus: CEO Guillaume Faury to be reappointed

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announces that its Board of Directors will propose to shareholders, at the 2025 Annual General Meeting, the reappointment of Guillaume Faury as Executive Board Member and Chief Executive Officer of Airbus.


The Company also announces management transition steps in its Commercial Aircraft business.

Thus, Lars Wagner, current Managing Director of Munich-based MTU Aero Engines AG, has been selected to join the Airbus Executive Committee, after completing his term of office at MTU, to become Christian Scherer's successor as Managing Director of the Commercial Aircraft business.
