Airbus: Q3 EPS up 22%

6bn for Q3, up 5% y_o_y.

At the same time, adjusted EBIT rose by 39% to E1,407m. This year-on-year improvement reflects the good performance of all Airbus Helicopters programs and service activities, as well as the favorable mix of commercial aircraft deliveries, the aircraft manufacturer says.

Net income for the quarter rose 22% to E983m, with quarterly EPS of E1.24, up 22%.

In the first nine months of the year, consolidated sales rose by 5% y-o-y to E44.5bn (9m 2023: E42.6bn). Over the period, Airbus reports having delivered a total of 497 commercial aircraft (vs. 488 aircraft in the first nine months of 2023).

For 2024, Airbus aims to deliver 770 commercial aircraft, reporting adjusted EBIT of around E5.5bn and free cash flow before customer financing of around E3.5bn.
