Lockheed Martin: $90 million contract with Poland
(CercleFinance.com) - Lockheed Martin announces that Poland will receive Sniper Advanced Targeting Pods (ATP) for its new FA-50 fighter jets, as part of a Foreign Military Sales contract worth $90.
68 million.
The system, already fitted to Polish F-16s, will enhance the tactical effectiveness of the FA-50 by improving target identification and tracking, while increasing interoperability with US and NATO forces.
The Sniper ATP can be upgraded with advanced networking capabilities to optimize coordination with systems such as F-35 fighters and HIMARS systems.
