BAE Systems: invests £220 million in its Rochester site

(CercleFinance.com) - BAE Systems has announced a £220 million investment to modernize its Rochester, Kent site, dedicated to its UK electronic systems activities.


The project includes the creation of a new state-of-the-art factory of over 32,000 m², and aims to optimize the working environment by integrating manufacturing, engineering and office spaces.

Improvements include refurbishment of office and parking facilities, as well as enhanced energy efficiency management.

The expansion is expected to create 300 jobs within five years.
