Siemens: working with Microsoft on industrial AI
(CercleFinance.com) - Siemens announces a partnership with Microsoft for the development of industrial AI.
The two partners say they have enhanced Siemens Industrial Copilot to optimize its use in complex industrial environments.
The solution helps create visualizations in 30 seconds and generates code requiring only 20% adaptation, while instantly answering users' questions.
It is presented as 'particularly effective in the field of control systems, especially for battery production, automating repetitive tasks and ensuring the quality of batteries for electric vehicles'.
This partnership enables the integration of the Microsoft Azure OpenAI service, facilitating programming for more than 120,000 engineers using TIA Portal software.
Siemens will present further details on the Copilot at the SPS exhibition in Nuremberg in November 2024.
