Wendel: completes acquisition of approximately 50% of Globeducate

(CercleFinance.com) - Wendel has finalized the acquisition of approximately 50% of Globeducate, one of the world's leading K-12 education groups, from Providence Equity Partners.


Wendel has invested €625 million in equity, representing an enterprise value of around €2 billion.

Founded in 1972 in Spain, Globeducate is a K-12 education group with a network of 67 first-class bilingual and international schools, as well as online programs, in 11 countries, mainly in Europe.

The group employs over 6,000 people, including 4,000 teachers.
