JCDecaux: a joint venture created in Central America
(CercleFinance.com) - JCDecaux announces that JCDecaux Top Media, of which it is the majority shareholder, has acquired 70% of IMC, one of the leading outdoor advertising companies in Central America and number one in Costa Rica, from its founders.
IMC's historical shareholders have also exchanged the remaining 30% for a 9% share in a new joint venture, combining the activities of JCDecaux Top Media Publigrafik and IMC in Central America, which is 51% owned by JCDecaux.
With a population of 51.7 million in 2023 and an estimated advertising investment of more than 2.2 billion dollars, Central America is a dynamic market whose growth exceeds that of the American continent", emphasizes the group.
