Vivendi: bilateral structured financing agreements
(CercleFinance.com) - Vivendi announces that it has entered into bilateral structured financing agreements to cover its potential bond debt repayment needs, should its demerger project be pursued and approved by its shareholders.
These agreements, which provide for the conclusion of purely cash-settled derivatives on a portion of UMG shares, have been signed with five banks for a nominal value of two billion euros.
The availability of funds under these bilateral agreements would cancel the commitments available under Vivendi's syndicated revolving credit facility and its eight bilateral revolving credit facilities.
