Atos: selected to enhance Destination Earth

(CercleFinance.com) - Atos has announced that it has been selected by the European Space Agency (ESA) as leader of a consortium whose initial twelve-month mission is to extend the functionalities of the Destination Earth (DestinE) service platform.


Initiated by the European Commission, this platform, made up of digital twins of the Earth, aims to help develop climate change adaptation strategies and implement precise, concrete mitigation actions.

The mission entrusted to Atos and its partners concerns the design and implementation of advanced applications and services that will facilitate the exploitation of DestinE data and the development of services by players in the European ecosystem.
