Imerys: boosted by positive analysis
(CercleFinance.com) - Imerys shares closed up nearly +4% yesterday, following Berenberg's positive analysis.
Indeed, the analyst announced on Wednesday that he had raised his target price for Imerys shares from E45 to E47, seeing the mineral specialties group as a 'stock to hold' ahead of 2025.
Following a roadshow held last week in Milan, the analyst expressed confidence in the message delivered by the French company's management team, namely a continued turnaround in the company's core business, performance minerals.
In view of its disciplined cost management, Imerys believes there is an opportunity to further increase its margins, the broker adds, maintainining a buy recommendation on the stock.
Furthermore, with renewed confidence in the prospect of an end to the asbestos-containing talc litigation in the US in the next few months, we think the group is a stock to hold as we approach 2025, he concludes.
