Atos: contract to reinforce a supercomputer in Sweden

(CercleFinance.com) - Atos announces that its Eviden business line has won a four-year, multi-million euro contract to boost the performance of the Berzelius supercomputer at Linkoping University (Sweden) for the second time.


By integrating and deploying more Nvidia technologies in the supercomputer, the Eviden team will add 512 PetaFlops of additional FP8 AI performance to Berzelius, the French IT services group says.

Funded by the Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation, this supercomputer has already enabled significant advances in various fields of research, including materials science, medical imaging and visual perception.
