GM: memorandum of understanding with South Korea's Hyundai

(CercleFinance.com) - GM and Hyundai announced on Thursday that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate in a number of areas considered "strategic".


The two partners explain that they plan to explore joint development of new products, cooperate on procurement and production, and work together on future clean energy technologies.

In a joint press release, the American automaker and its South Korean counterpart emphasize that the aim of this collaboration is to improve efficiency measures and strengthen their competitiveness.
