SAP: acquires Israeli company WalkMe
(CercleFinance.com) - German enterprise software giant SAP announced on Thursday that it had acquired WalkMe, an Israeli digital adoption specialist.
The Walldorf-based group had initially announced the acquisition of Tel Aviv-based WalkMe last June for about $1.5bn.
At $14 a share, its tender offer was at a premium of around 45%.
Listed on the Nasdaq, WalkMe shares will be suspended from trading as of this evening, SAP points out, pending the announcement of a forthcoming delisting.
Digital adoption is about enabling users not just to learn the basic functions of a given software, but also to master its more advanced features.
