Saint-Gobain: exclusive negotiations to sell PAM Building
(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain announced this evening that it is in 'exclusive negotiations' to sell its subsidiary PAM Building, which specializes in sanitary and storm drainage solutions, to the Aldebaran investment fund, with a minority stake from Bpifrance.
PAM Building - which has two plants, in France and the UK - employs 400 people and generated sales of 110 million euros in 2023.
This proposed sale would enable Saint-Gobain PAM to focus on its historic core business, which is the production and supply of complete infrastructures for transport and water supply networks.
The transaction is expected to be finalized by the end of 2024.
This proposed sale is in line with the Group's strategy of optimizing its profile, in line with the objectives of the 'Grow & Impact' plan.
