LVMH: Givenchy appoints new Artistic Director

(CercleFinance.com) - Givenchy announces the appointment, effective immediately, of Sarah Burton as Artistic Director.


She will be responsible for the artistic direction of all the House's women's and men's collections.

In 1996, Burton joined Alexander McQueen and became Head of Design in 2000 with Lee Alexander McQueen. In May 2010, Burton was appointed Artistic Director. Burton left the House of Alexander McQueen in October 2023.

In December 2023, Burton received the 'Special Recognition Award' at the Fashion Awards, honoring her outstanding contribution to fashion.

Sarah Burton will present her first collection in March 2025.
