Airbus: 47 aircraft delivered in August, 46 orders

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announced on Friday that it had delivered 47 aircraft to 31 customers in August, compared with 52 in the same month last year.


For the first eight months of the year, the aircraft manufacturer reported 447 aircraft deliveries to 75 customers, a performance this time up on the 433 units delivered over the same period in 2023.

For the record, the group has set itself the target of delivering 770 commercial aircraft this year.

Airbus added that it had received 46 new gross orders in August, compared with 117 a year earlier, bringing its total order book to 24,208 aircraft.

Following these announcements, Airbus shares lost 1.3% on Friday morning on the Paris Bourse, underperforming a CAC 40 index (around -0.6%).
