Continental: unveils new tyres for buses & trucks

(CercleFinance.com) - Continental will unveil three new tires for buses and trucks at the IAA Transportation show, to be held from 17 to 22 September in Hanover, Germany.


The Conti EfficientPro 5, with a 10% improvement in rolling resistance, will offer high fuel efficiency and good braking performance, the company says.

In addition, the Conti Urban NXT, Continental's most sustainable tire for urban transport, uses 59% renewable and recycled materials, and improves the range of electric vehicles.

Finally, the Conti EcoPlus HT3+ is the latest version of a tyre for trailers with electrified drive axles.

These tyres, available in early 2025, are designed to be more durable and efficient, reducing costs and CO2 emissions.
