Boeing: Chinook helicopters for Poland

(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing has announced that it is supplying its CH-47 Chinook heavy-lift helicopter to Poland, on the occasion of the MSPO annual international defense industry exhibition, where the group showcases advanced defense systems, capabilities and services.


The aircraft manufacturer explains that the aircraft, the latest version of the Chinook, will enhance the airlift capabilities of the Polish armed forces, while offering them greater interoperability with those of allied countries.

Operating the Chinook in tandem with the newly acquired Apache aircraft will serve as a force multiplier for the Polish armed forces, due to their complementary capabilities, it adds.
