Thales: takes the lead in DECOR research project

(CercleFinance.com) - Thales announces that it will lead the DECOR research project, sponsored by DSNA and supported by EUROCONTROL, working in partnership with Airbus, Air France, Amelia, Atmosphere, CERFACS, CGX AERO, FRACS and ONERA.


This project aims to conduct large-scale demonstrations of digital solutions to facilitate collaboration between the sky and the ground, while reducing the environmental impact of flight operations, without compromising safety.

Thales said that the DECOR project is the next step towards optimizing flight trajectories, and will reduce the CO2 impact of flight operations by 10% before the end of the decade.
