Saint-Gobain: sale of Freeglass in Germany finalized

(CercleFinance.com) - Saint-Gobain announces that it has finalized the sale of Freeglass GmbH & Co KG, its business producing plastic exterior parts for the automotive industry, to HF Opportunities GmbH, a subsidiary of Hannover Finanz.


The divested business, which operates a plant in Schwaikheim, Germany, has been designing and producing plastic polymer components since 1998. It generated sales of almost €20 million in 2023 and employs around 120 people.

The French building materials supplier explains that this operation is part of its ongoing strategy to optimize its profile, in line with the objectives of its 'Grow & Impact' plan.
