Rémy Cointreau: Oddo BHF remains positive despite China

(CercleFinance.com) - Oddo BHF maintains its 'outperform' rating on Rémy Cointreau shares, along with its target price of E105, after a press release in which the group reports progress in the anti-dumping investigation initiated by the Chinese authorities last January.


The broker notes that, while China has so far refrained from imposing preliminary tariffs on cognac imports, a tax, should the investigation be successful, could be higher than the 16% that has so far prevailed in the debate.

Oddo BHF acknowledges that the lack of visibility in the US and China should continue to weigh on the stock's performance, but believes that the valuation offers an unprecedented entry opportunity on a stock with quality fundamentals.
