Boeing: agreement to support Nigeria's aviation sector
(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing and Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Aviation have signed an MoU to strengthen the country's aviation sector.
The agreement aims to support Nigerian airlines through workshops, training and technical support.
Nigeria's Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, said that this partnership will help develop civil aviation in Nigeria, a key market for Africa.
Boeing estimates that Africa will need 1,170 aircraft over the next 20 years, with Boeing already dominant in the African market.
