Diageo: E1.9bn bond issue

(CercleFinance.com) - Diageo announces that it has issued E1.
9bn of fixed-rate bonds in three series under its European Debt Issuance Program.

The bonds, issued by Diageo Finance plc and guaranteed by Diageo plc, inclde E700m maturing in 2031 with a coupon of 3.125%, E700m maturing in 2035 with a coupon of 3.375%, and E500m maturing in 2044 with a coupon of 3.750%.

The funds will be used for general corporate purposes. The bonds are intended for qualified investors only and are not available to the general public in the EEA and the UK.
