Intel: presents innovations at Hot Chips 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - Intel presented its latest technological advances at the Hot Chips 2024 conference, highlighting its innovations in AI use cases, from data center to PC, network and edge.


Amongst the news, Intel unveiled its first optical interconnect chiplet for computing (OCI), as well as details of the Intel Xeon 6 SoC (Granite Rapids-D), scheduled for 2025, and designed to optimize performance and energy efficiency, especially for edge environments.

Intel also presented the Lunar Lake client processor, designed to improve energy efficiency and the graphics and AI performance of next-generation PCs.
