Capgemini: unveils its WindSight IQ sailing innovation

(CercleFinance.com) - Capgemini and America's Cup Mediadevised today WindSight IQ, the technological innovation that will be used to broadcast the 37th Louis Vuitton America's Cup, as part of their global partnership announced earlier this year.


For the first time, viewers and race commentators will be able to see the wind and its variations on the race course in real time.

In addition, a race simulator will analyze wind data and calculate the best possible routes, enabling commentators and viewers to predict what teams should do, or analyze how they might have won a race.
