Siemens: Q3 net income +48% at E2.1bn
(CercleFinance.com) - Q3 2024 sales rose 5% on a comparable basis - i.
e. excluding currency and portfolio effects - to E18.9bn compared with the same period last year (E18.1bn in Q3 2023).
Orders fell by 15% on a comparable basis to E19.8bn (vs. E23.5bn).
Profit from industrial activities rose by 11% to E3.0bn (vs. E2.7bn in Q3 2023) with contributions from all industrial activities.
Its profit margin increased to 16.5% (vs. 15.4%). Net income rose to E2.1bn (vs. E1.4bn in Q3 2023), whereas Q3 2023 was affected by a loss of E0.6bn related to the investment in Siemens Energy AG.
The corresponding basic EPS before purchase price allocation (EPS pre PPA) was E2.66 (versus E1.78).
Group free cash flow totaled E2.1bn (vs. E3bn). The Group confirmed its full-year forecasts.
