Fnac Darty: examination period suspended for Unieuro

(CercleFinance.com) - Fnac Darty has announced the suspension by Consob, the Italian stock exchange authority, of the examination period for approval of the offer document filed last week for Unieuro, as Consob wishes to receive certain additional information.


As a reminder, the offer by Fnac Darty and its partner Ruby concerns the 19.8 million shares not yet held in the capital of Unieuro, Italy's number one electronics and household appliances retailer with a 17% market share.

The examination period will therefore be suspended until the additional information required by Consob has been provided, and in any case for a period not exceeding 15 days from that date.
