Boeing: $115 million contract with US Army for Chinooks

(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing announced today that it has been awarded a $115 million contract by the U.
S. Army Special Operations Aviation Command (USASOAC) to produce two additional MH-47G Block II Chinook helicopters and begin advanced procurement of future aircraft.

A total of 46 MH-47G Block II helicopters have been ordered by the Army.

Whether operating in the middle of the night or in difficult terrain, the MH-47G Block II is a proven workhorse for special operations," says Heather McBryan, Vice President of Cargo Programs and Program Director for Boeing Defense, Space & Security.
