Boeing appoints new CEO
(CercleFinance.com) - Boeing announces the appointment by its Board of Directors of Robert K 'Kelly' Ortberg as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective August 8.
He will also sit on the aircraft manufacturer's Board of Directors. He will succeed Dave Calhoun, who announced earlier this year his intention to retire from the company, having held the position since January 2020 and been a member of the Board of Directors since 2009. Robert Ortberg brings over 35 years of industry leadership to the position.
