Airbus: Abra Group to acquire five A350-900s

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced that Abra Group has signed a memorandum of understanding to acquire five A350-900s to expand its international long-haul operations and increase capacity, in line with its strategy to strengthen connectivity to new destinations.


According to Adrian Neuhauser, head of the Abra group, these aircraft will offer a superior passenger experience, be more fuel-efficient and reduce costs, thereby improving the accessibility and accountability of travel.

Airbus says it has a dominant market share in Latin America and the Caribbean, with over 1,300 aircraft sold and a strong order book.

The A350 is already compatible with up to 50% sustainable aviation fuel, with a target of 100% by 2030.
