Nokia: FWA portfolio expanded for the North American market

(CercleFinance.com) - Nokia has announced the addition of a 5G FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) outdoor receiver and an indoor gateway with Wi-Fi 7 to its FWA product portfolio.


Designed for North America, these solutions support multiple 4G and 5G bands, including CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service, a radio frequency band between 3.5 GHz and 3.7 GHz in the U.S.), and are aimed at bridging connectivity gaps in the region.

Nokia says its FastMile 5G receiver will be able to be self-installed by consumers, maximizing throughput even in weak signal areas.
