GM: targets raised again for 2024

(CercleFinance.com) - On the occasion of its quarterly results, General Motors (GM) announced that it now expects adjusted EPS of between $9.
50 and $10.50 and adjusted EBIT of between $13 and $15 billion for 2024, compared with $9-10 and $12.5-14.5 billion respectively previously.

The automaker points out that its forecasts include planned capital expenditures of $10.5 to $11.5 billion, including investments in its battery cell manufacturing joint ventures.

For the second quarter of 2024, it saw adjusted EPS jump 60.2% to $3.06 and adjusted EBIT climb 37.2% to $4.44 billion, representing a margin improvement of 2.1 points to 9.3% on revenues up 7.2% to $48 billion.
