Verizon: EPS down 5% in Q2
(CercleFinance.com) - Verizon reported Q2 2024 EPS adjusted for special items down 5% to $1.
15, despite adjusted EBITDA up slightly by 2.5% to $12.3 billion, and operating revenues up 0.6% to $32.8 billion.
Still on a year-on-year basis, the telecom operator boasts solid wireless revenues, up 3.5% to $19.8 billion, and 17.2% growth in broadband subscribers, to 11.5 million.
For 2024 as a whole, Verizon says it is on track to achieve its targets of adjusted EPS of $4.50 to $4.70, adjusted EBITDA growth of 1% to 3%, and wireless revenue growth of 2% to 3.5%.
